I posted on Brian Spears' essay. This is what I said.


In France people eat much smaller portions. They also take a longer time to eat their meals. I know that most stores close for about 2 hours around lunch time so that the people can eat. Even though they are eating things that are not so good for them, i.e. lots of cheese and wine, they are still mostly healthy. There are also less obese people in France than in America. Your paper makes good points but you should back them up with actual facts.
